GEEP, Creccila and Nissan Recycling Event

GEEP and Nissan/Creccila held a joint Electronic Recycling event at the Nissan locations in Sabana and Curridabat on November 18 and 19, 2011. A total of 30 tons of e-waste has been collected during the 3 recycling events hosted by CO2.cr, Nissan and GEEP.

Participants were very happy for the opportunity to recycle their electronics as historically collection events have been primarily for non-electronic waste ( paper, cardboard, glass, plastic and aluminum).

Due to the large success of this 2-day collection event, with the full support of the Ministry of Health, plans are underway for Nissan and CO2.cr to host similar events during 2012.
